Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
Agreement
By using aptrastandard.com or creating an Aptra student account, you agree to these terms. The site and the Aptra program are operated by Sino LLC, a company registered in the State of Texas, USA.
What Aptra is — and is not
Aptra is a proprietary certification and quality-assurance standard for transfer education. Aptra is not a university, college, or academy; it does not deliver instruction and does not confer degrees. Degrees are conferred by partner US universities. Content on this site is provided for information and does not constitute an offer of admission, employment, or immigration advice.
Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and maintain no more than one account. We may suspend or close accounts used in violation of these terms.
No guarantee of admission
Meeting the Aptra criteria qualifies a student to be presented to partner universities under standing agreements. Each university makes its own final admission decision. Nothing on this site or in the Aptra program is a promise of admission, credit transfer, visa issuance, scholarship award, or any other outcome.
Scholarships
Aptra scholarships are discretionary awards made under the terms of each published cycle. Committee decisions are final. Submitting an application does not create an entitlement to an award.
Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false information or forged documents — doing so is grounds for immediate account termination and notification of affected institutions; not to interfere with the operation or security of the service; and not to access the certificate registry by automated means beyond its intended verification use.
Certificate verification
The verification service confirms the registry status of a certificate at the time of the query. It is provided for legitimate due-diligence purposes by universities, institutions, and employers.
Intellectual property
The Aptra Standard, the content of this site, and the Aptra name and marks are the property of Sino LLC. They may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission, except as necessary to review the site for its intended purposes.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Advising and matching outputs are guidance only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sino LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and its aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to Sino LLC for the service, if any.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions may be sent to info@aptrastandard.com.
